Japanese Language & Culture

Students will have the opportunity to experience a taste of Japan and be immersed in its language and culture. Both beginner and intermediate students will enjoy the class. Basic words and expressions will be covered. Students will learn Japanese sounds and rhythms, hands-on activities, and fun games. Projects in this class will include origami, sumi-e, and more!

Board Game Bonanza

Calling all young gamers! In this dynamic summer program, students will become true game masters. They'll embark on thrilling adventures through various board games, from classics like Monopoly and Candy Land to strategic favorites like Chess and Guess Who. Along the way, they'll learn each game's rules, strategies, and secrets, unraveling what makes them timeless treasures. With this knowledge, they'll embark on the ultimate quest: creating their own original board games! From concept to completion, students will brainstorm, design, and playtest their creations, honing their creativity and critical thinking skills with every roll of the dice.

Creative Impressions: Introduction to Printmaking

Discover the magic of printmaking. In this course, young artists will delve into the basics of printmaking techniques, learning the art of creating unique impressions on paper and fabric. Students will explore color and design through guided projects, understand the tools, and build confidence in their creative abilities. No skills or experience required.

Math Magic

This course turns math into an exhilarating adventure, guiding young learners through engaging games, hands-on activities, and creative challenges. As they delve into foundational math concepts, enhance their number sense, and foster a love for problem-solving, participants will experience an enchanting journey where math transforms into a fascinating quest for knowledge and discovery.

Exploring Nature Through Art

Join us for an exciting adventure as we blend art and nature in this interactive summer course. Students will embark on nature walks around the school campus, discovering hidden treasures and observing the beauty of the outdoors. Through activities such as rock painting, leaf rubbing, and nature scavenger hunts, students will unleash their creativity and create unique works of art inspired by their surroundings. They will also have the opportunity to explore the school garden, learning about plants and ecosystems while engaging in hands-on art projects.

Young Scientists’ Lab

Become a scientist in the "Young Scientists' Lab," where participants will engage in hands-on experiments, explorations, and scientific investigations. From discovering the wonders of chemistry to exploring the principles of physics, this course fosters a love for scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a curiosity about the world around us. Topics will be covered in a variety of ways, including presentations, videos, and experiments.
