Summer Stick Fun: Lacrosse & Ball Play 

This class will introduce students to the exciting world of lacrosse. Lacrosse is a fast-paced team sport in growing popularity where players use a long-handled stick with a netted head to catch, carry, and pass a rubber ball. Explore the fundamentals of lacrosse, from mastering stick techniques to understanding the rules of the game. Engage in thrilling ball play activities that enhance coordination and teamwork. This course is designed to foster a love for physical activity, teamwork, and the joy of sports.

Olympic Adventures: Exploring Greek Legends

Embark on an epic quest as students will delve into the captivating world of Greek mythology, discovering the tales of gods, goddesses, and heroic adventures. Through storytelling, art projects, and interactive games, participants will not only learn about ancient myths but also explore the values and lessons embedded in these timeless stories.

Japanese Language & Culture

Students will have the opportunity to experience a taste of Japan and be immersed in its language and culture. Both beginner and intermediate students will enjoy the class. Basic words and expressions will be covered. Students will learn Japanese sounds and rhythms, hands-on activities, and fun games. Projects in this class will include origami, sumi-e, and more!

Dollars, Decimals & Deals: Math in the Marketplace 

Join us for an exciting summer class in which students entering grades 5-6 will delve into the intricacies of "Dollars, Decimals & Deals." Students will create and manage a class store while learning money math, understanding decimals, and mastering fractions. Through interactive activities, students will develop practical math skills, making the world of math come alive in the marketplace.

Ocean Odyssey

Dive into the mysteries of the ocean with "Ocean Odyssey." Participants will explore marine life, ecosystems, and ocean conservation through hands-on activities, science experiments, and creative projects. From crafting sea creatures to learning about underwater habitats, this course aims to inspire a love for marine biology and environmental stewardship.
