Students will explore, experiment, and discover together while enhancing their reading comprehension skills. |
5 | Colorful Connections | Dive into a colorful journey of self-discovery! Through expressive art activities like painting, collage, and drawing, students sharpen their communication, cooperation, and conflict-resolution skills. This class empowers young students to navigate their emotions and understand the feelings of others with resources from the “Be Good People” curriculum. There will be a focus on self-awareness and self-management, social awareness, and relationship skills. The class also includes team-building activities that encourage cooperation, problem-solving, and the development of a positive and inclusive classroom community. |
6 | Japanese Language & Culture | Students will have the opportunity to experience a taste of Japan and be immersed in its language and culture. Both beginner and intermediate students will enjoy the class. Basic words and expressions will be covered. Students will learn Japanese sounds and rhythms, hands-on activities, and fun games. Projects in this class will include origami, sumi-e, and more! |
